Boateng played well but both Poland and Ukraine had quite a few chances.

yeah couple of chances happened, but the amount is alright so far. Considering the amount of counters we face and comparing it to the amount of counters we interrupt I feel quite comfortable at the back so far. Also helps that we have a decent goalkeeper.
For nationalteam standards our defense looks pretty solid.

Yeah I suppose Neuer is part of the defence so his saves do count as part of that.

Howedes is killing Muller, they have to try something different. Muller getting no support to go and drift into dangerous areas.

Have backed Germany so need them to improve!

Don't worry, Germany always has a lackluster performance in their 2nd game of a major tournament so they will get better.

Euro 2000: England 1-0 Germany - Eliminated by Romania and Portugal in GS

Euro 2008: Germany 1-2 Croatia - Lost final to Spain
World Cup 2010: Germany 0-1 Serbia - Lost SFs to Spain, 3rd place.
Euro 2012: Netherlands 1-2 Germany - Lost SF to Italy
World Cup 2014: Germany 2-2 Ghana, they needed to push hard for the draw, World Champions.
Euro 2016: Germany 0-0 Poland - Even if they lost today and with NIR, still go thru.

Still think they are along with Spain the best team so far just want them to up it a bit as could be better.

Maybe it is the way these groups are set up that teams are cruising this stage a bit more than normal.

Only 2 wins in 10 matches. Didn't know they were that bad in their 2nd fixture.

Even though low on quality chances this was the best match in this tournament for me so far.
Poland was very impressive, apart from Milik.

I've said it before and I say it again: in order to raise the quality of nations tournaments there needs to be fewer club fixtures during the season. European top leagues aka England, Italia and Spain need to reduce their first division teams to 18. The home/away format needs to be removed from the cup competitions as well. You could not expect much from the international competitions when the players arrive, mentally and physically drained, and have had only as good as a few weeks to be prepared for the tournaments. Many top players miss the competitions due to injuries as well for the same reason, as we have witnessed in the past several tournaments.

That is complete counter productive because clubs are the ones that count, pay and make money... they invest in players and attract people and fill stadiums all year long, they would even if there were 22 teams instead of 18 or 20, even 24 and 46 games/season. Cutting will just bring down revenues and make the sport less interesting. Cutting Cup ties would be good, with the condition they bring back 2nd Group Stage in UCL.

Not to mention that I would prefer to cut National Team Fixtures in order to have players, like ours, perform for Barca, not come after some meaningless friendlies like Romania-Spain and almost destroy the season that went perfectly up to then with some horrible games in 1 month, actually, it kinda destroyed it anyway because we were heading for a tri campions 3rd season, 2nd consecutive UCL and now age will be starting to get the better of Messi, Suarez etc.

Make it like rugby...top teams qualify automatically to the next tournament and play friendlies only in the summer, while the others play less games to qualify.

Also, Euro 2020 will be a complete waste of energy to travel the continent, if they kept 16 teams like it's normal, countries like Switzerland+Austria can host, hell, with a bit of effort countries like Poland and Ukraine would've been able to host alone, they made it 24 with Platini and handed it to France and later nobody wanted to host alone because they felt the waste of space and money to keep 24 teams for 2 weeks and see only 8 out.

As long as Ireland would beat Belgium, I don't see why you would want Italy to beat Sweden, with those 4p, Ireland goes thru anyway.

Best midfielder around
Wish they would stop riding Zlatan's dick on national TV over here. Hope Italy demolish Sweden.
