Yes Pedri is still a bit slow and timid in his decision making but it is good to see he is trying and trying. A lot of room for improvement but the talent/vision is there.

Pedri need Adama's workout regime

Maybe that's why we want to bring him back

I think he's very self aware (and Barca as well). There have been plenty of reports about him working on his body, but it needs time. You can see that he has all the right instincts shielding the ball, but lacks the strength (which Iniesta had for example).

Not worried right now, but if he looks the same in 3 years I will be ;S

I agree.

I also don't get the Pedri complaining, at least not yet. Barca wanted to loan him out because they knew he wasn't ready, but he stayed and later had to start because our other midfielders were duds.

Circumstances forced him to start for Barca. Lucho could shield him better and start someone else, but he's looking better today with someone that isn't a complete joke in Rodri.

Don't get the hate. He's playing his first big tournament as a starter, it's tremendous pressure for an 18 yo. And he's been among Spain's better performers. Of course he'll be timid and keep it safe.

Glad to see he's taking risks today. He's got an eye for a pass.

Watched 2 games of Spain this Euro and can remember 4 phenomenal lobbed passes by Pedri. Really hope he becomes more daring for us as well.

I don't really want to compare the players since they're different, but Foden at the same age wasn't getting many minutes for Man City. Pep didn't think he was ready and he also had some other good players in front of him.

In an ideal world our other midfielders including Pjanic wouldn't be so bad that we had to rely on a kid that turned 18 in November and just came up from Segunda.

Yet you have people expecting masterclasses consistently. Like wtf.

Not all players are outstanding at the age of 18 or consistent. Most aren't anywhere close to that.
