Everybody on that field is passing to Mbappe. One of the rare shots the French had was a result of combination between Griez and Benz.

Benzema seems to be ordered to play more as an attacking midfielder, to accomodate Deschamps' baby, Mbappe.

You know what this half reminds me of? The final of the last Euros. When CR was on the pitch, everybody was trying to find him. Then he got injured and Portugal played as a team.

Benzema can hold up the ball like Giroud. France never spammed crosses. They just need a striker who can play with his back to the goal, one that Griezmann can play off.

Big Benz is doing his job, but Mbappe has been almost disasterclass the entire tournament.

Portugal played badly for most of the match and lucky to get a result, stop making everything about CR.

France were much better in 2016 and 2018 when Griezmann was the main player. Now they put Mbappe as the main man, they look to predictable. He is to selfish to be the main man at a team.
