Why is De Gea not starting? Is he that bad?

De gea is not the keeper he was and Simon is a good keeper. Anyway a keeper isn't really where Spain are going to win or lose the match. Choosing the right striker is more important for them

Spain on top, if only they had a top class forward then they would walk it, but they don't so it will be hard for them to score, so I still expect Italy to win 1 - 0.

It's just that this Simon clown wants to gift Italy a goal tonight. Too shaky

Hit the post once too. A lot of near chances. Busi tackel should have been free kick and yellow to him.

Imagine this were Barca, would you be saying this if we had only 1 shot in the whole half, one that came on the 44th minute? Italy looked absolutely toothless. Spain are getting the ball into dangerous areas and creating chances for Oyarzabal, but he is shit so no goals.

That said, Italy only need one good attack to score a goal, the level of their attackers is higher.

Really? I felt like they were kinda close many times. Few very dangerous chances but offside in the end.

Of course, if you don't count chances which ended up offside or something it ain't that bad first half.

Villarato!
Losing Spinazzola might turn into an 'absorb-n-counter' team more so than they have been until now

Emerson had one time he joined the attack and timing looked horribly off with Insigne not knowing when to let him loose.

Not sure they can bring anyone on either.

Italy with 0,07xG in first half I read.
Spain with Morata up top would have sniffed one goal in first half, I think. Olmo and Torres both with some premature shot too...
