To give this penalty with VAR in the game is absolutely embarrassing. They are lucky the Danes will prolly take it like little boys and move on.

This. England have been better. If they win fairly so be it. But that penalty in VARball is pathetic.

Bollocks or they would have given pen for foul on Kane earlier when wasnt either but easier to justify.

It is the rules and them being too scared to change a referees decision on the park.

Same with the French pen v Portugal.

Name me 3 situations in a history where the richest/most influental countries were robbed in final matches.
Except by that drugdealer South American ref in 2002, who ended in a jail later.

On the other hand, I'll name you 30 situations where small teams were robbed.

2 months ago Villareal vs Dinamo in Uefa.
Every touch, foul, offside, all decisions went into rich club's favor.
I have seen that shit too many times over 30 years.

Uefa/Fifa want big teams/countries to win.
And they'll push it in more or less blatant ways.

English football is on a rise.
All the money is there.
And the final is played on Wembley.

If someone will get a slight push from Uefa/refs, that will be England.

If they win, they will get even better EPL sponsordeals, and Uefa will probably get their part indirectly.

Money money money.

That s why i think any sane neutral will be an italian fan in the final. Plus, they play better football.

BBZ8800, it is logical for the better teams to get most of the calls, because the better teams do most of the attacking. So if you go 15 times in the opponent's box you are way more likely to get a soft penalty than if you go 3 times.

You are speaking shite.

They could have given England a more 'obvious' pen earlier in game.

The issue is not using VAR to change referees decision on the park due to some reasonable doubt nonsense.

All you ever do is react after fact and make up bullshit theories.

It's not only the foul itself. It is also that Sterling had two balls as there was another one on the pitch. The foul shouldn't even count as that was shortly before the foul and the referee should have whistled as two balls are not allowed. Fucking disgrace

Denmark would have been a favorite at pens since their keeper was possessed all game. Even saved the pen. They were robbed, pure and simple.
