I started this post a while ago, got distracted by Tempt because of the argument wheter Lewandowski was greater or Messi/Maradona/Pele. Took some time.

45 minutes later... no disrespect to Romania or any team, the 24 team format seems ingenuine. It's a good point. I don't think the bottom 8 teams in this tournament will justify their place. The 16 team format is ultimate for EUROs, but there's no way back.

I agree. No disrespect. Romania won their group in the Qualifiers ahead of Switzerland, we would've made it for 16 teams also most likely.
