Nope, not even Guttmann can stop SLB this year.

In paper at least, Sevilla are whole lot better. Plus, Benfica will be without 3 players (at least Enzo Perez a key one) that will make the squad thinner.

Besides, it would be a pity for Benfica to win it, since they will get raped by either RM or Atletico in the UEFA SuperCup... while Sevilla knows quite well how to handle them like lately.

Juve are one of the biggest cheats in football, drugged out of their minds in the 90's, the scandal in 2006 and now they are dominating serie A while peopel in general have more sympathy for Roma and Napoli ( I also prefer Fiorentina), all these factors lead to people in general disliking Juve.

On paper, Juventus are better as well but as a consequence will watch the final on sky italia.

That said, Sevilla has the advantage of course due to the suspensions, but the strong will and tactical firmness that was on display yesterday by SLB will give most teams something to think about. And you shouldn't underestimate the fact that an european cup win will make these players legends.
I expect a relatively balanced tie to be honest but hope for a Benfica win.

This, I guess people have forgotten about Calciopoli. Like most here know, I like some of their individual players like Pirlo, but never the club. The only reason I'd ever want Juve to win (besides when they play against a club I hate more) is to get some coefficient points back for Italy, but this season was so pathetic for Italian clubs in Europe that I gave up on that.

Whilst I was rooting for a Sevilla win last night, I'd like to commiserate Los Che fans. Just saw the highlights of the match, and the scenes of the valencian stands at FT were very moving . Reminds me of Emery's valencia farewell, where he bore the look of a heartbroken man. A case of unrequited love. I hope the sevilla fans treat him better. Needless to say I'm delighted for him, and I hope he takes it all. (please wear a better suit for the final, sir)

Still remains my fav Emery video. :D

I am Leg End
Hopefully Benfica win it as I think their supporters deserve some success on the european stage at long last.
