No need to post the xG maps
Ajax and Arsenal made chances for 3 more goals than they scored tonight.
Expect both of them to go through next week in the remontada.

Dinamo looked well against Villarreal but lost. Not over yet though, we have nothing to lose in Spain.

What game is everyone watching tonight?

Wanted to see Abdallah Sima but he is on the bench after having a groin injury.

Wasn?t guys saying Dinamo would beat Villarreal?....

In the first game 0:1 from a pen which wouldn't be awarded if it happened in the opposite box.
At 0:0, Dinamo scored a goal from a 2cm offside, it was disallowed.

Tonight, at 0:0 Villareal scored exactly the same goal as Dinamo in the first leg, it was checked by VAR and confirmed, even though you could see that in a VAR room they paused a pass and draw an offside line 1 second before the pass while the player was still onside.
Dinamo's staff at a halftime ran with mobile phones towards the ref to show him the replay one more time, but he didn't want to talk, of course.
At 2:1, Villareal's player played with a hand in his box, the ref didn't even want to check VAR.

Villareal was better over 180 minutes, but even it was a tied match, refs would help them since they are from a richer countries and Uefa needs English and Spanish teams in finals, not random Eastern European teams where only rare fans are paying pay per view for matches.

So, basically, over 180 minutes:
2 exactly the same offside goals
2 exactly the same handballs
= all 4 decisions went into Villareal's favor.

An analogy: you know that feeling when Barca plays with Real and you know that every 50:50 decision like a pen, edge of the box free kicks, yellows, offsides will be called in Real's favour?

Well, that is how you'll feel your whole life in sports if you are from a small/poorer country when you are playing against teams from big/rich European countries.

Sums it right up. Noone denies that Villarreal was a better team. But those "big" push decisions from the refs leave a bitter taste. Why they do this... Even when you play vs f* Villarreal... It was not some giant... Some big club that needs to be pushed. It is a clear case of how VAR didn't gave us what we expected it will. Fair chance. It is still a toy in a hands of refs.
We all see it in the La Liga... We see it in EL ... We will see it on EURO, even on WC.
