te amo barca

Blaugrana al vent
I hope we go far in the tournament so that Barca fans learn what a fun tournament this is. It is underrated and games are often bonkers compared to CL

p.s. Konrad is playing well vs Lokomotiv, he has a great burst of pace to get away from the fullback and put in a cross. Reminds me of Tello on that left wing. He would've been really useful this season

bad news is that Napoli finsihed 2nd in the group

which means they are potential Barca opponents for R32.
Let's avoid them

Olympiacos, Napoli, Lazio, Dinamo Zagreb.
Imo, Barca can lose to any of these.

Mats will concede for fun against anyone even in EL (Orsic from Dinamo scoring screamers again, he is the guy who scored 3 against Mou's Tottenham last season):

Those freak results the last match day changed some things a bit.

Now, with both Napoli and Lazio there, there are a lot of decent R32 opponents.
Good thing we avoid Sociedad and Betis.

The R16 opponents look easier now, with the exception of West Ham, you have:
Galatasaray
Red Star Belgrade
Eintracht
Leverkusen
Lyon
Monaco

Unfortunately there are no indications that this team can win the Europa league…

Maybe a healthy Fati and Pedri will help but where are the goals coming from…?

Rangers and Braga should be easy even for the current-level Barca
Dynamo, Olympiakos and Lazio should be more tricky, but doable

Only Napoli can really kick us out

Then for the R16 there is similar gradation with 3-4 doable, 2-3 more tricky
and only West Ham the team to avoid

Barca will lose that at a hostile Ibrox, you can guarantee it

A lot of posters here are from Croatia.
Not that I rate Dinamo, they are a typical Europa League level of a club.
But the current Barca is so bad that I would put Dinamo as 70:30 or 60:40 favorites.

Why?
1. lots of their players played on a World Cup, Euros and lots of qualifying games over years
2. they are playing Europa league for years and have some European experience
3. all of those smaller teams will be pumped up to win against Barca and they will play at 120%

On the other hand:
1. Gavi = played at Segunda a few Months ago
2. Nico, the same
3. Fati, the same
4. Abde, Illias, Balde, lol. They are still playing at Segunda
5. Busi, Pique, Alba aren't any better than random players from Europa league
6. Depay is the same as any random EL attacker

No offense to anyone but Tottenham from the last season was way stronger than the current Barca:

I don't know about Braga, though.

Lmao even dynamo kiev would easily beat these bum teams incuding napoli

Its either dortmund sevilla spurs if they are still in there or barcelona

If we don't have any steady improvement soon both in terms of personnel (Ansu, Braithwaite and other injured players coming back and playing regularly) and how we play before February, I don't see us beating most of those teams.

Barca has 2 wins in the last 9 European matches.
2 wins, 2 draws, 5 defeats.
Goal difference 4:17.

There is no way that we'll reach even quarters of Uefa league.

This team can't win against anyone.

In 5 matches under Xavi, we scored a goal from an open play only at one match (vs Villareal).
We have 4 matches without goals from an open play.
