IDK if he's the new Xavi... He plays higher up the field than Iniesta when they're both CM... However, he would give us a new look in the midfield.

Our mid field consists of Xavi, Iniesta, Busi, Yaya(or a new DM if he leaves), Keita... JDS &Thiago as such have 4 well established players in Xaviesta, Busi & Keita to compete & fight for a very little game time for CM poistion!!
To that you want to add one of the best mid fielders out there, who's still very young, would want to play each & every game and still think he kids would have a chance!? Talk about living in ignorance!!
