According to Gerard Romero, if promoted we are considering Celta B forward Borja Iglesias.

In 39 games for Celta B this season he's scored 34 goals.

Couldn't find any skills/goals videos, but this one is an outstanding goal:

He's an interesting one. another one from Fluminense's academy, Like Marlon was. He's a B2B/DM and he's been great for Fluminense so far this season.

A good read: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2716773-what-is-causing-the-youth-talent-drain-at-barcelona

It's the board; Barto's beef with Laporta, imho, is resulting in him snubbing La Masia and going the galactico route. It's amazing that a personal vendetta is ruining this club's ethos. When are the next elections; Barto cannot run again, correct?

Thats not the case at all and as for the galactico route what is that based on Neymar and Suarez?

Laporta bought Ibra for huge money wanted to bring in Pogba if he won the election.

They were in a lot of ways lucky to have one of the greatest ever La Masia generations coming in to their peak and when those players were not there they were prepared to spend.

The idea that La Masia is now being neglected to somehow get back at Laporta is just fabricated nonsense.

Is it though? It's more than Neymar and Suarez; it's Digne when Grimaldo was ready, Gomes when Roberto was more than ready. The only La Masia that has gotten anything close to being properly promoted was Aleña and even he seems on the way out. This exodus has to be taken seriously. Not saying these crop of youth players is another golden generation but they should at least be adequately considered before we ship them off. Our own coaches are telling youth players to leave for their own good. Completely unacceptable.

The Laporta-Barto argument is very much speculative, not denying that. But since Barto has taken over, there have numerous talents that could have been at least bit players for the 1st team and we've either completely neglected them or have not put them in the right position or given them enough time to shine and succeed. A great example this season was the whole Munir-Paco travesty. Right when Munir was finally gaining confidence and showing signs of improvement, we ship him off and replace him with a player who was basically in the position Munir was three seasons ago. Madness.

You can call it fabricated nonsense all you want. But I do think Barto has distinctly tried everything he can to contrast himself with Laporta and while it certainly isn't entirely to blame, I do think it has played a part in our youth players losing faith in their chances of succeeding here.

Grimaldo left before Digne and Grimaldo is about the only one who has left who has really proved he deserved more chances.

Roberto was seen wrongly by Lucho as the RB so Gomes not really relevant to that.

Neither of those transfers were Galactico type signings anyway.

Munir was given a lot of chances, was slated for a lot of the time as not being good enough more than anything. Paco is a better player than him and Munir is too weak to play at CF and I say that as someone who argued against how bad he was often labelled while at Barca.

In recent years there has been record numbers of La Masia players in the Barca squad. The issue is people compare it to a once of generation of players that for many reasons is almost impossible to replicate.
