Hope there will be better and more intelligent players in the squad next season.
López was clearly a horrible manager but it's also true that a lot of players didn't really offer much throughout the season.

Lopez truly was horrible. I remember seeing reports of him being sacked if he lost his next game at least 4 weeks straight. Every time we lost and relegation looked more and more certain, Lopez remaining in charge made less and less sense.

Unless this was the plan all along by the board. I'm actually happy to see us relegated.

He got Barca B promoted which rewarded him a contract extension which imo played a role in the club giving him quite a bit of time to turn the situation around. But with how well García Pimienta was really doing with juvenil A and Barca B counting to plunge in the standings the club finally gave him the boot.

By the time Pimienta finally got a chance to right the ship somewhat it was already to late. But it's not all bad, considering how good Pimienta is it will be a good thing for the club for him to develop the talent we have coming from juvenil A and the talent we already have at Barca B develop them properly in Segunda B.

Nope. The main reason is money.

Thats a big problem. How much are these kids paid at Barca? Probably peanuts compared to what Premier League teams are offering. It's tougher and tougher to keep the talent in Barcelona.

At the end LaMasia should be our priority and source of cheap, home grown talent. That's the best deal you can make.

If we end up feeder club to other big teams, we are in world of trouble. We need to keep the best talent in Barcelona!

You guys think many prsopect will leave now? They are not plauing in Segunda.

Don't think many will leave.

Out of this generation we can count on Alenya and Oriol making it to the first team. Maybe Cucurella.

Cuenca, Abel and Juvenil A players are still young. They shouldn't have problems playing in Segunda B.

Maybe Fali is just butthurt. It's possible Bakero was the one who decided to get rid of him in January while Segura would probably keep him if he would still be in charge of Barça B.

Guys like Varo,Martinez,Costas,Fali etc were never brought in prospects for the first team in the first place.

Martinez and Fali especially were brought in as vets to help get Barca B Promoted, and they done so and the same with Varo as a Backup GK. I mean you can tell straight away who was brought in to shore up the B team only with experience, ones that came through La Masia and the young players who were brought in with possible first team prospects to go along with the La Masia players.

Fali is probably mad that he was given the boot because there's a good chance Bakero felt like his services were no longer required and it was pretty much true.

Just an official confirmation about what we've already known for some time. Tarin has already signed with Leganes, Araujo's contract with Celta has also been terminated about a week ago, it was clear we won't execute buy option for any of the players on loan and since Pimienta has taken over he didn't count on Martinez so it's not a surprise his contract wasn't renewed.
