Looks like only Araujo will travel for the Barca B games.

Puig has a slight ankle discomfort.

Fati chooses to focus on the CL.

Good decision, Puig and Fati are already crucial starters this season imo.

Makes sense tbh.
Fati didn't play there since preseason, and he was even playing a no9 for B team while playing on wings for us the whole year. It isn't his team really. Puig shouldn't take any risk for B team. While Araujo is healthy and played least amount of B team while being one of the team captains.

Araujo is absolutely necessary. Cuenca and Mingueza (underrated) are only good when paired with Araujo.

Would of liked to see Puig there to cement promotion chances as the midfield suffered alot against Valladolid Promeses without him. But it opens the door to a sport for Ilaix so there is a blessing in him not being there.

Same with Ansu although he never done the campaign with Barca B like Khaled mentioned. And likewise, he has given a first 11 opportunity to Konrad who has taken it with open arms in his last few B games (3 goals).

Yeah, Araujo was the most needed between the three. He should bring stability to the backline.

Riqui would be great but we have good midfield options even without him. I like Monchu, Jandro and Ilaix in midfield and Reis is also a good option off the bench.

We don't have a lot of depth in the wingers department after Hiroki and Collado got injured so Fati could be useful here but as @khaled_a_d said he has never played an offical game for Barca B and hasn't train with them for almost a year so it's questionable how much chemistry he still has with that team. Hopefully Konrad will stay fit and play well the next two games and I believe in Nils Mortimer too. Matheus Pereira did quite well on his Barca B debut too in a role of a false RW (similar to Collado's role).

I thought Araujo would be the one who for sure would stay with the first team since we only have 2 fit CB's. Let's hope he can stay fit.

Check out @youngcules for some streams.

Former La Masia product Alex Corredera is starting for Badajoz. He was a part of the team that won Uefa Youth League in 2014.
