Is it time to talk about sacking the coach? Or does he have a bit more life left in him.

Probably gets the season.

Team should improve alot once all injured parties return. In a few years we will look back at this B group and realize it is more talented than we are performing with alot being Segunda level at the least- like usual.

But probably not the guy going forward after that.

Derby vs Bilbao B starts in 30 minutes. Still lot of injuries and Prim is suspended but Toni and Cedric are back in squad, good to see.

El técnico Albert Sánchez saldrá de inicio con: Kochen; Olmedo, Mbacke, Sergi Domínguez, Rubén López; Pedro Soma, Aleix Garrido, Unai Hernández; Dani Rodríguez, Guille Fernández y Dacosta.

Como suplentes estarán: Yaakobishvili (p), Piera, Aziz, Edu Sánchez, Darvich, Joan Anaya, Cédric, Oduro, Cuenca, Brian Fariñas, Xavi Espart y Toni Fernández.

Good to see Dani back in the 11.

Most interesting choice is Ruben Lopez winning that fullback spot. He basically gives us another midfielder as his workrate is top notch.

Kochen looks seriously impressive from the videos. A bit on the short side perhaps, but great shot stopping, confident in his actions and good with his feet.

A bit on the short side perhaps,

He is listed at 1.88 on transfermarket, if true, it is a bit on shorter side but taller than any Barca first team starting GK since Hesp at the start of this century (Pep Reina had a season as a starter, and was the same height).

TM isn't always accurate, though, and there is no other official source that list his height, niether from Barca or US.

I agree he looks good, I said in the past that it seems like he is the chosen one from thos crop of La Masia GK. With MATS age and injury history, Kochen has the chance to actually make it if he keeps developing.

There's an online hipster opinion that Yakoob is better because he is less error prone. I don't agree with him being better from what I have seen, but it is true Kochen does make more mistakes than the average young goalkeeper.

So for example, in that Bilbao game, Kochen done some fantastic stops but then where he did concede he could of done better. And that has been the case in a few of the games.

Alot of that will be ironed out with experience. I guess if I had to compare him to any goalkeeper, it would be Rulli.

That is an interesting comparison tbh.
I didn't watch them enough outside of highlights to form an opinion, and those hipsters might be right in their evaluation, but everything indicates the club has different opinion and rate Kochen higher than anyone.
It isn't like Barca ever shyed from mistake prone GK. Both Marc and Valdes were like that. Bravo was probably the only starting GK who was on the "less mistake" side and that might be debatable.

Meh, would prefer to see Oduro who started well but now hasn't played in last few games. The same with Aziz. Wonder what's going on with them.

Ouch, why the interest from both us and Castilla than?

Usually clubs see those as players who can do well at lower level rather than the one they are in.

Look at it as a 3rd division team, being interested in a player who failed in 2nd division.

It is like Barca signing Jutgla, Pau Victor , Menaj, Cedric etc.
