Fairly sure it is about balancing the books as came in with mandate to do and post a profit each season. Not quite sure what consequences if dont.

Not any danger of failing FFP etc which has been extended anyway.

Every team lost a lot and we had one of the highest revenues. Not much they can do I guess. Although the high wages of players are hurting us A LOT.

That was 70% of three months of salaries only, not 70% of their entire year’s salaries. Not sure how it was calculated but it only saved us 16m, according to Bartomeu.

Huge wages would be my guess. Highest in the world, but it's not getting any return in terms of titles.
