nah coz the deflection totally changed the trajectory of it. it's one thing when it takes a little knick but basically goes where the ball was intended, but you can't count that as an assist.

anyway we're now 38-0-12 all-time when Valdés, Piqué, Puyol, Busquets, Xavi, Iniesta and Messi feature in a game. not bad, eh?
