FC Barcelona tickets: questions and info

You're kidding right? There was a dumb ass Madrid fan in the Camp Nou wearing a Madrid shirt sitting in the Barça fans section, he was heckled, grabbed/pushed by one guy and then escorted out. Wasn't even vs Madrid.

Taking your family to an El Clásico, sitting in with the Madrid fans and showing your support for Barça minimal you will get is heckles & insults, inviting trouble (but with a family there will be some mercy from the sane individuals), and definitely warrant you being ejected from the stadium to quell the situation that will flare up, unless they are kind and sit you with the Barça fans (but considering it will be sold out and no seats available, it'd be the former I can imagine).

Are you guys trolling? Du faq 0_o

One of thee most fiercest rivalries in sport, wow.

I know the intensity of the rivalry, but this sort of behavior is just shameful and should not be condoned.

Yeah no doubt but it does happen. Even in lesser or none existent rivalries, fans don't take kind to opposition teams fans sitting among them.

Doesn't have to be violent, it will be unpleasant insults and/or heckles; the only option being is for security to remove the fan and put an end to the dispute & distraction. Unfortunately emotions run high, we're only human and it's in our nature. It'd be different if it was in a neutral stadium and it was an International game. (*edit, even then there maybe exceptions depending on the country - "politics" is the key word).

Whether is right or not the thing is it happens. You've just got to understand that the rivalry is so much more than just a football match. Wouldn't have thought it was a good idea to openly support Barca in the Madrid section. Asking for trouble.

Spot on, agree with you both; if it were my kids (when I have them) and wife, I definitely wouldn't want to put any of them in any potential harm or danger, it's just not smart, not worth the risk.

If you sit there quietly, yeah, you would get away with it (but keeping your little one's quiet without blowing your cover? lol good luck). Use common sense, simple.

^so much this.

It is what it is, no fixing it. Whether it's utter hatred, jealousy, competitive rivalry in all competitions, things that have happened in the past (doesn't matter if you let go or not/put things behind you) etc. To try to quell that rivalry and prevent any kind of physical or mental attack on the opposition from either side is just an impossible feat. To stop thousands, millions? Not happening.

You get good & bad no matter where you go.

Rambled on too much now so that's me done :beer2:

Wear a RM shirt? :puke:

Blasphemy. Should never be considered as an option for a Barça fan.

Wouldn't even pretend, just sit quietly and applaud. Let us know how it goes, good luck.

Plenty of people go to matches in normal clothes. Not really a necessity to wear a Madrid shirt.

Hello, I am from Singapore and are planning a trip to Barcelona and is hoping to catch the El Clasico on 22 March 2015. Do I have to queue up for the tickets or is there a online app for it?

Don't give Real Madrid an extra jersey sale.

and your tickets must have cost a huge huge amount.

Currently you cannot buy tickets to El Clasico from official sources. It was sold to members only on the official FC Barcelona site. There will be another purchase period just a day or two before the game but it is not clear if it will be for members only again or open to everyone.
You can buy from third party reseller sites online (they cost a fortune) or from touts around the stadium before kickoff but I have no experience on it as I always was able/lucky to buy tickets as a member.
