£50 million for 12 goals in 67 games................just WOW!

Torres was nowhere near his best when they paid that kind of money either. what a joke.

This season will be make or break for Torres and if he fails, I can see Chelsea fans turning against him.

it's not that he doesn't score many goals. it's just that he is crap overall. i mean only andy carroll canidates besides torres for the worst touch. before he scored the goal against barca he had one of his trademark moves by kicking the ball 50 meters ahead of him and tried to run after it. he breaks up so many attacks with his poor tecnique and not to mention his decision making. he is just a horrible player. at least in atletico he was a decisive striker, now he is just so horrible that it's really painful by just watching him playing.

The injuries took a toll on him, plus moving to Chelsea when he did was a mistake. He got greedy.

I was at the Chelsea-Milan match in Miami a few weeks ago and it was mostly Chelsea supporters. I must say the support for Torres is there. Everybody wanted t see him and when he came on, the place erupted.

What Torres does have is a good workrate and the effort is always there. Hopefully having a bigger role in Chelsea will help him out.

Words cannot describe this guys ability, simply because he doesn't have any.

It's surreal that we're even able to say this. It feels like just yesterday when he was wearing red, Arsenal was going away to Anfield, and his name put the fear of god in us. Imagine if he hadn't torn his hamstrings so badly, and that Liverpool had won the league in 2008.

The future of the player and the club would have been radically different if they just had turned a draw into a win, and a loss into a draw.
