Rafa obviously stopped Chelsea from playing the wings and that benefits Torres greatly. I imagine him and Özil together in a team would be deadly.

we all joke, but some guys actually believe it .And the guys who believe in him think that those goals will give him confidence to carry on,but he will be shit again hahaha.......... even if he scores 7 goals in a single match he will never ''be back'' he has lost time by like 2 years ago or even more...

He'll still score more goals than Rooney

The false dawn master. So when is his next goal drought? Probably after January, when we've decided to buy a backup striker instead of Falcao(though I doubt he'll want to come now! LOL) or somebody awesome(who also probably won't want to come) cause Torres has been scoring regularly enough. Bastard.

All those injuries he had at Liverpool killed his pace. It must have shattered his confidence to see chances he would have scored easily previously, but know he wasn't fast enough to get at the end of them anymore. He's going to have to reinvent his style of play if he's ever to get close to the numbers he used to have.

Torres (11 goals in 25 games) has also scored more goals than Rooney (5 goals in 16 games), Balotelli (3 goals in 18 games), Tevez (8 goals in 21 games), Aguero (7 goals in 18 games), Dzeko (7 goals in 20 games), and Giroud (7 goals in 20 games)

as well as also scoring more goals in open play than Falcao this season as well.

City strikers suffer from rotation. Its hard to find form or rhythm when you're not given a decent run of games, or a proper partnership allowed to forge. Whilst the ladboy has had the luxury of starting and finishing most games, he has played a lot more mins needless to say. Giroud is still adapting to the league, what with this being his debut season, and Rooney was out injured for an entire month(besides he's not his team's primary goalscorer anymore, neither is tevez).

Rooney has played SS, Wing even at CM there's alot more to his game than just goalscoring, but when he's in poor form my god he's bad.

I'm surprised everyone hasn't seen through Torres already. I'm annoyed with hearing the news in the papers that he's returning to form. I don't get him at all, he looks mentally wracked sometimes but plays very lazy or doesn't seem to care. If winning the CL, knocking out Barcelona, and that performance in the Euro 2012 didn't resurrect him, nothing will..The Torres from Liverpool is gone
