Torres in the first years at Liverpool was a beast. Better than RVP. Now Robin is much better than him tbf.

ofc, but i think he gets over criticized (especially on here) 14 goals is'nt as bad as he's made out to be on here.

Yeah but he's disappeared in every big game we've had. He scored braces against crap sides that we beat 5-0, it means nothing. His record for this season looks better than it is.

He's an absoloute disgrace and needs to be kicked out the club sooner rather than later. His misses and lack of movement have cost this team dearly all season, the last straw for me was in the CWC Final when he missed a sitter then stood offside in the dying moments of the game, laughing it off afterwards.

I can't stand him. The comments he made about how unhappy he was just after we'd achieved the greatest night in this clubs history back in May was unforgivable. The fans have backed him ever since he joined, and despite his dodgy performances we've never stopped backing him, until now. It's gone on too long.

Two years he's been here, and he's dragged us down to his level. It's not about Chelsea anymore, it's about how we can get the best out of him. Sacrificed managers and players in order to do it. Enough is enough. Falcao is a must buy for us, he'd propel us to silverware, and we should give Atletico Torres to sweeten the deal.

implying he wanted to leave like that and the owners had nothing to do with it
implying kenny didn't want the money for andy 'ibra' carroll

Torres wanted to leave in August 2010 and sulked for 4 months and threw a hissy fit throughout those months before handing in a transfer request on 30th January leaving us for shit and then in the 11th hour he changed his mind and Kenny quite rightly told him to fuck off.

He had it all here. Much more important than winning trophies he was an icon and a hero for Liverpool supporters world wide and threw all that adulation in the bin because he didn't want to give FSG or Kenny a chance. There are not many opportunities for players to go beyond just world class and become an icon and a legend. He just threw it in the bin.

I hate Torres because I loved him. I have no qualms in admitting this.

:lol: why the fuck are you trying to convince us that hes even a decent player? ok he scored that besides that so what? dissappeared from the field in the most games and he doesnt help at all... he is an average player and because of his perfomances he is even worse than average

"It wasn't the best way to have gone but nor were things exactly as they were sold [to people]. One day the truth will come out."
"In a sporting sense, nothing was happening; a new project was needed"

i take torres' side, the club was doing nothing to go forward and i wouldn't want to be around a team that isn't looking to move forward.

Don't be so cynical about Torres. After all he did get you to the CL final.

Torres didn´t give no CL final...He´s goal was irrelevant. It was Drogba and ramires magic who score the goals that mattered.

Though i think some of the criticism leveled at Torres these days is a little harsh, its clear that he's not the same player he was at Liverpool. He has lost a ton of pace, falls down to easily, can't beat defenders, and his confidence level is near that of Alexis Sanchez. He's been given enough time to improve. He's not player at the level of a big club like Chelsea. He would move to a club like Atletico soon.

It's amazing Torres is still being defended. I mean Hell I gave him 1.5+ seasons, that's more than enough, he's done.
