Fernando Torres

Did I ever say he was a great player? Nope, I'm just shoving it in the face of haters. Whine, whine, whine. Want some cheese and crackers with your WHINE?

That wasn't aimed particularly at you, so don't take it the wrong way.

Winning the Europa League is showing like the best of the European losers, first CL winners not to catch R2, makes me rofl when I'm thinking what they did back in 2006 to lose points intentionally in Bremen so that Barca needed 3 points to qualify to the 2nd round when we were defending champions .

Torres only played because Ba was locked after playing for Newcastle ( who is another staggering chelsea transfer that shows the wisdom of that club ), this Chelsea squad with a good striker could've had a chance to win the Premier League, Europa League is for teams like Wigan, Stoke, Swansea, Levante or Betis.
14 goals in 81 games in the Premier League, I think there's defenders with better stats than this disaster .

We waste enough chances to score, having this guy in our squad will kill us for good in important games.

Nonetheless, we might make some bad transfers, but we ain't that bad to pay 40 million quid for a player who was already clearly not performing anymore at Liverpool in his last months.

Since he already has played with most of our players I think he would be confident and regain his good form. He'd feel right at home with all the players

We have Villa, who always was a better goalscorer than Torres even in his good days even if now Villa is clearly far from his best, he's still a better striker than Torres.

LOL, Torres is at Chelsea for 2 seasons and a half, isn't that enough to feel at home? He's scoring % is garbage, he's no good for the spanish NT, Pedro scores for Spain at a rhythm Torres can only dream about.

Totally disagree. He doesn't get steady time with the NT, and just looks out of place at Chelsea.
Imo he'd be the perfect Striker to fit in our team, but never should we spend over 12-15m for him.

I actually agree, and would love to have Torres, but I do worry that he will flop for us. And knowing the ridiculously high fee Abramovich would demand of us...

We have Villa, who always was a better goalscorer than Torres even in his good days

Have to disagree there, Torres was a complete monster in his glory days.

Watch it with this song btw.

LOL, well Villa was like that too but we bought him too late. What happened in 2010 should've happened in 2006 after won the UCL and we could've, but no, Eto'o was enough and Gudjonsen "would perform" ROFLMAO. Eto'o was injured in Bremen and Gudjonsen...well..............just Gudjosen.

Yeah I feel he still has it there inside him, look at his goal in the Europa final. When he tries he does pretty well. We're just not the club for him, that's it. If he leaves I wish him all the best, I can't hate him even if he didn't achieve the heights we hoped he would.
