Well La Liga and the Premiere League are two completely different leagues to play in, so their is a difference of how not to get 50 goals in as quick as possible.

I don't think it's a record for the premiership, just for Liverpool. Plus he scored 50 goals in 72 games that's I think what they meant, not in terms of time, but in terms of matches played. In other words other Liverpool players had to play more games to score 50 goals.
