Terrible idea. Weakening Real Madrid is not in our interest. We don't want to boss the league every year and get crumbled by our CL adversaries. :p

Just messing with you, King.

Yes, i was checking to see if his Barcelonismo would cloud his ability to lead.

This gets me thinking, we had Barcaforum elections in lieu of the upcoming FC Barcelona elections. Why not do something similar with the FIFA elections? I'd love to see some more ideas presented in the manifestos. This time on a more global scale.

And Hamzah might finally win an election.

since we are on a board of a spanish team, with many spaniards i jsut have to ask this:
Why did spain vote for Blatter?

Didn't DonAK get elected for Barcaforum and then proceeded to abandon his post and do none of the things he promised in his campaign?

Yeah, IMO DonAK is as corrupt as Blatter :coffee:

so, lets just assume this adventurous idea of UEFA and COMNEBOL splitting from the FIFA, would the clubs and players in spain stay with Villar, or jump ships?

That's why it's a messy idea and very unlikely to happen. If the federation members are not unanimous, it just creates a whole bunch of internal problems. Likely UEFA is not going to be unanimous because at the very least Russia has interests to support Blatter to the end.

CONMEBOL is a different subject because not only is it smaller and therefore easier to consolidate, but they might very well get hit by sanctions stemming from either all their corrupted officials getting arrested, or by Blatter punishing them for lack of support, or by Blatter taking away a spot to give it to Oceania like he just hinted in his victory speech.

But all of this is extremely far-fetched.

Not according to the Dutch/Belgians. They say their bid was clean. :mou:

I am not arguing with you, since I think you agree with me, just adding to the conversation:

That's what western nations always say. "Corruption" is their number one excuse for everything. For why their ex-colonies are poor, for why they should always organize big events, for why their puppets should be ruling country X or Y etc etc etc etc...

I actually meant that CONMEBOL and UEFA would simply leave FIFA and make their own FA, Blatter wouldnt be able to do anything then because he's not their boss anymore and the World Cup wouldnt be that awesome with Botswana and Kiribati Islands in the final. Who could blame them actually for stepping out of a federation, that is that corrupt and supporting slavery and genocide in Qatar?
I dont expect this to happen, but deep down I actually like this Idea. Would be awesome to see the face expression of Blatter and co., it would indeed however be very messy and cause lots of internatl problems inside the FAs.
