He doesn't try too much fancy bullshit but he is a very technically skilled player with vision for options that no one else can see. Every once in a while you'd see a little glimpse of his massive untapped technical ability with a beautiful turn, a mazy run, or a flair pass. He has a lot of hidden talents, kind of like Busquets (although he mirrors Xavi in style).

I meant that as a compliment. The kid is a serious football player.

He would fit our system perfectly.

I know you meant it as a compliment but he does have a touch of flair and magician in him, he's not just about efficiency like Busquets and current Xavi

I haven't watched much of Atletico B play and only watched him with the u19 squad but I'm immensely impressed with this kid.

I'm not being butthurt about the Thiago saga here, but honestly in terms of talent and potential Oliver>Thiago

It's amazing how opinions of Thiago's talent have slowly changed since it became apparent that he might want out.

It's not cause of the saga. Nothing to do with Thiago either, just commending how good Oliver is really

Our lads were really embarrassing tonight..

If you mean England, I would have to disagree. We completely dominated in terms of chances created, and only conceded to a moment of class, then got punished as we chased the game late on. We were probably the better side in all three games on balance. Considering the weakness of the squad and the manner of the results, I'm not too bothered by the exit, and I think the media are being overly harsh.

People say this all the time, but when was the last time you actually heard anyone English bigging up our national team(s)? Views of them are almost entirely negative these days, unless you're trying to glean public opinion from Youtube comments sections or something.
