The press (either md or sport, can't remember) said tito presented his resignation to the board, after winning la liga, and they refused it. Don't know if it's true, but it's something that could happen.

I don't think this guy is good enough to coach Barca. Sure, we won the league, but we've done really poorly in big games. And then there's the fact that we could lose Thiago because of him...

What double standard, one man who can still play and one man who is not fit enough to lead the team full season which in turn left the team in the hand of an imcompetence assistant.

We were horrible against Bayern but by that stage in the season the team was under prepared because of Titos 2 month absence, Management is not just about the day to day it is about preparing your team for the important games later on and Tito was sick and could not do that. He showed enough in the first half of the season when he was seemingly fit and healthy to suggest he can do great things at this club. If we had played Bayern in December I think we would have beaten them, and I think we will beat them if we meet next year, there is not much to choose between the two teams at all. Look at Man Utd losing 1 - 6 to City but then coming back to take the title easily the next season, Barca were hurt by that defeat and it will spur them on to show everybody that they are still the best and they are.

It is not Tito's fault Thiago is leaving. Pep was the coach when Thiago's contract was signed so he is more to blame than Tito, Vilanova should not be forced to play Thiago because Pep allowed such a crazy clause to be inserted in his contract. Thiago played the minutes he deserved, he is not good enough to play when Xavi, Iniesta and Busquets are fit, If Tito feels they are the players he trusts to get the job done then he is a smart man. Thiago has not shown he can be trusted to put in a top performance each game, in fact I have yet to see Thiago give a truly great performance against a top team.

Tito has done a great job in his first season, but having cancer takes alot out of you and it would be unwise to judge a man on his performance when under going chemotherapy. His health comes first with his family so he could not have given what he needed to Barca and that is why we struggled at the end of the season. I am very confident that Tito can lead Barca to the Champions league this season if he is given the players he asks for which is something that Pep got almost every time.

This is the main problem. That's why people want him to leave.

I'm completely against the idea of sacking Tito. He won the league so he deserves to stay on. However, I'm very worried about these continued trips to New York. It's a delicate issue but the team can't go through another season with the manager being frequently absent.

Bayern Munich
Real Madrid
Paris St Germain
Manchester United
Manchester City
Chelsea
Inter Milan
Roma
Napoli

All have new coaches this summer. This would be a good time for Barcelona to get a new coach as well. Tito is an OK coach but he's going to miss games again this season and we should learn from last year.

I dont think he won it so hardly, maybe he won it but the other thing is that Madrid was bad so...it doesnt give you a clear image,i would get a clear image only if Real were competitive

You've never seen Thiago give a great performance against a top team because he has only played about 3 games in 3 years against a top team.
I don't think he'd be any worse than Cesc, especially after his quality display when he was subbed in against Bayern (best Barça player of the game imo).

The football we played in the first half of the season was very good, after Tito's illness it went downhill and became sloppy. That's not to say that Tito can be excused just because of that spell of absence, because even when he returned the team wasn't playing that well. All I'm saying is that there was a time when Tito was doing things right (except for in defense) and he does deserve a second chance.

He's gonna be missing again next season... the same absence problems we will face again next season... how is this not registering to the board or fans? I'm speechless.
