No of course its not 'his job'.

But Pep brought this issue into the open and Villanova has given his opinion of it.

It seems Pep brought that up to try and somehow justify going for Thiago as the he owes the club nothing.

If anything Pep brought up the issue of Titos ilness and used it as something to hit Barcelona with.

Good on Tito for giving his input on it.

Job as a friend? haha. I think both sides are wrong on this. I didn't like Pep's statement, nor Tito's. Their personal relationship is of no interest to me. Pep said he just could visit him once, and the part he accused rosell might have been related to this, that pep didn't visit tito more. I don't remember seeing this on the press, though. Anyway, if Tito had just said that the board didn't use his illness to attack pep it would had been best, than playing the victim card.

He did. I'm not siding with Pep, btw. I don't agree with his statements to get back at Rosell. Pep must have his reasons, but he started this sad affair. I just think Tito would've done better if he had chosen not to go down that road as well.

A better response would've been one he gave, that he doesn't think the board used him to attack Pep. And nothing more. The "I was alone and needed him and he wasn't there for me" is playing the victim to hit Pep back. I understand why he did it, but I'd much rather he had not done it. And that's it for me, I won't go on a pointless quote war with you about it.

And how do you translate that, then? It is the victim card being played. He was alone, pep didn't visit him, he expected more from pep, he would'd done differently if he was pep, etc.
