Frank Bagnack

Hes not ready yet,the point of signing a CB was to get someone experienced and good enough to be a regular starter.I don't think he is the answer at least for now.

This ,I am actually worried about bringing him with 1st team most of the time ,he is just 18 ,this is what Rijkaard did few years ago when he promoted 2 gr8 talents like Bojan and GDS too early ,it didn't end well
He need to stay some time with B team and get some experience there first ,let's take things slowly

That's what we were saying about Sergi Gomez 2 y.a. and look where he is now..
Many players stop developing at some point of there career ,some others keep evolving and turns into stars ,there is nothing to grantee a prospect to turn into a gr8 1st team player ,but that shouldn't prevent clubs from doing everything right to their young players to develop them

Bartra is a better option for that
He is 22 ,tbh I think for the sake of his career he should move on loan and get regular playing time

Responsible for the penalty but otherwise did well

I thought he covered Pique's side of defense there and that his tackle was outside the box... but yeah, you could still argue he was at fault too.
Really hard to judge him based on these 2 friendlies. He was barely tested.

I like the young man, he has character and talent, that's what will separate him from Batra,Muniesa and Fontas, Character and toughness which those other three players lack.

Rate Edgar Ie higher, but this is a good experience for Bagnack. Good to see Tata using this young players. Show them the big world and some minutes with the first team. He would be a good duo with Edgar at Barca B, but unlikely both will play.. think Eusebio prefers Sergi Gomez/Planas with Edgar.

Bagnack (Planas) - Edgar Ie (Sergi Gomez)

No way with the exposure and the confidence Tata has in Bagnack will he sit on the bench for Barca B. guys like Gomez will never make it to the first team.

Eusebio is a strange guy, so expect again some weird things from him. Would be ridiculous to bench Edgar or Bagnack. Those two are the most talented CBs at Barca B and need to start. Planas is a solid back-up player. Can play CB and LB. Especially the first weeks he can fit in at LB as Grimaldo is still recovering. Sergi Gomez is just not good enough. Fully agree with you.

If its that simple then hes not good enough at the moment.

Cool name though, sounds like a hard nosed US detective.

He's not good enough to be the answer to our defensive problems in the 1st team, but definitely to train regularly and play a few games. This season is the big chance for him, if he works hard and improves a lot then he'll be an assured defensive prospect for us going forward.

You never know with Eusebio, would not be surprised if Samper/Bagnack are behind in the pecking order with him.

B player Bagnack, who has been training with first team last weeks, will be registered as Juvenil A player. B shirt number will be 33. [md]

So that means that he'll start the majority of the games in Juvenil A (not in the B-team?)? Weird that a player that Tata seems to trust so much would play in Juvenil A.
