Why would they call him up after playing 15 minutes anyways, it's a non story imo, because he was never getting called up.

Compared to de la Fuente definitely, who talked about that NT games only amount to 3% of a footballers load... to argue when they break it's not on him I guess

The club has to take measures to deal with him. This is the guy that overloaded Gavi in a meaningless game, ending up rupturing his ligaments. When a manager does that, he obviously has no consideration about the player's well-being beyond his work.

De la Fuente is right, we have no right to criticise him for playing our kids if Flick doesn't rest them.

Flick doesn't rest them enough because of Spanish League fair play rules. It's something he is forced to do, or not do to be more exact.

We don't need to criticize him. We need to have players who are playing too much get some discomfort in the game prior to NT breaks. Problem solved. If he can't manage the player properly, we can do it for him. Gavi's case is textbook managerial failure.

Jam and I tried to tell u laddies.
And you were both wrong, affording to what game out in sport, he will make 23m this season, would be closer to 26m if he didn't miss so many games, still way to much for what he offers and the 2nd highest in the team, add his transfer fee to that, he's costing the club 30m.

W for birdie

Lol

No, Birdy argued about salary and not the cap hit.
23M is far from 37M.

Him making straight up 37m with no transfer fee added in would be wild lol.

Did anyone outside of social media really believe that?.

26m isn't that far from 37m though TBH, which is what he would make if he wasn't injured.

Come to think of it, their is an exactly 11m difference between what capology reported and the 15m per season his fans reported.

Kinda funny.

Early days yet.

Expectedly, It is going to take some more time for him to get back to that level where he goes for tackles fearlessly, if he will ever get there again. I saw a player trying to conceal his limps while running or going into duels.

I really wish him well and a speedy recovery because a mix of him is needed in the current system. He will make the midfield set up better by a lot of notches.
