I lost count on how many times I wrote this about barca players.. this team is FC finished United because they all seem to unite here until retirement comes knocking.

Let’s say at first that i’m not proud of complaining about him for a long time. It’s not only his fault for being the player that he is. A big reason is the media and his supporters for thinking this way of playing would be enough so he didn’t had any reason to change anything. It’s true that real elite players recognize their weaknesses and try to make it better but there was a period where almost nobody had anything negative to say about Frenkie.

If you looked good you already saw a player that was quick happy with a few flicks and beating the press. When you was comparing it with lets say Modric then you saw that this player offered the same but also long balls, through balls, tempo dictating, assists and shooting when necessary. I think even the most important thing is that he always found the solution to create chances or at least to invent plays that lead to the opponent goal. Frenkie just likes to play a big possession play without a goal and not has the sense to smell danger for them to score. A very irritating habit as he relax on the wrong moment. Nobody is waiting on his nice looking turns when you could have give the pass that leads to something. Then some people are saying that Busquets also never scored of gave assists. Its true but he was a master in standing on the right place to defend his team and on the ball he played quick passes on the right moment so that the other midfielders plus Messi had enough time to do what they need to do. Big difference and Frenkie is not a real 6. More a 8 so you need to create more. This period is very good for him so now he sees what’s necessary to become a better player because otherwise he will sit at the bench. Time will tell if he make this change

No more bringing players over to Barca on huge wages. These guys, like Frenkie become impossible to move in the transfer market. No matter what we know he's milking this until the end.

To be fair to him he had a pretty good cameo against Madrid but generally he seems to be a defensive liability.
