He will play a critical role in whether we advance against PSG or not, since he will have to play as a DM.

I would feel more comfortable with Christensen there or someone else to baby sit him in his favorite double pivot, but with Roberto also out, he'll have to hold down the fort.

He isn't that good. Can sell him + Araujo for 200 mill combo package to Man Utd. Invest in the young core and reshuffle the midfield with Pedri and Gavi leading it.

Before the red card, he failed to provide an outlet for passing for the defenders, essentially giving up for PSG pressing. He also killed many counter attacks by hogging the ball.
Ball carrying is supposed to be his biggest strength, and he fails to do so in top games and high press, and barely provide an outlet for passing for our CB.
We have so many interiors and at some point it willbe stupid to keep them all with redundant skill sets and plenty of other holes in the team.
I am not singling him out, but he either needs to step up or do the gentleman thing and move on.
It doesn't feel like his success is meant to happen here.
