This guy is goooooooooddddd!!!
Another example of 'a DM that tastes the CM life is never going to be a good defensive DM'.
If you move him up the pitch, you'll need two players for defensive duties, no doubt. Creates a bit of a headache for slotting Pjanic in for this season.

You're moving him up the pitch. The more any player plays further up, the more he wants to be involved, the less he'll want to go back down permanently, especially when they're relatively young. See Marcos Llorente. Or Kante to a lesser extent.
Frenkie won't be a CDM if you continue to use him this way to take advantage of his runs. He'll sure do some defending, but he won't be a holding player anymore. Means you need +2 new names.
Doesn't change much, but there needs to be a clear idea for it going forward, else you'll end up with a misassembled midfield.
Nah, Kante is exactly the player you don't want if you're moving FDJ up. He is a less reckless Vidal at this point - RCM with B2B tendencies.
You want a no-nonsense bulldozer who's comfortable on the ball. Better if he's older, and then get a younger one who's fit and could be his sub.
Sure you do. If the goal is to play 4-3-3, 4-2-3-1 or a diamond and FDJ is LCM.
Partey could work but again, you need at least 2 in this case.
