I thought he actually played way better today than his last weeks with more energy. He finally keeps speed in the attack with 1 touches and quicker passing. In the games when he was weaker he got substituted. It still has to be better

Agree! This position that is a bit like DML, with Alba on the outside and both Gavi and Ferran in front, and Pedri and Busquets on the inside, suits him pretty well.
I thought it was correct to sub either him or Pedri in order to get some more bite to the offense, but Frenkie played rather well yesterday.

Most of the time he is stopping his runs by staying put and playing it it safe instead of trying to use that space we barely have. I just dont see it with this guy because i dont see any strenght in his game. What is he? Wonder if we would have a another good midfielder if he would play at all.

Maybe because he's instructed that way? Frenkie is class, responsible midlefielder who's teared apart by his partner busi who's leaving black holes in his area. Our mf and wings doesnt use 1-2's with him when he passes and goes into space. Numerous times he didnt recieved the pass back.

I would shit on frenkie myself the moment hen he starts to play with anyone not called busquets and in the same time having 0 impact on defense and mf.

Some good progressions with the ball forward, but he is vacating his position when he does that. Also very poor defensive workrate/awareness, idk why but he sometimes is just not arsed to cover his space.

Absolutely inverted impression on every single point. He was dominant. Only bad thing was too many unforced errors in passes, but he pretty much orchestrated the play.

He covers the ground so much quicker and moves ball quicker also.

Lone DM is not his position and certainly not to get best from him but this idea the team sufffers massively with Busi not there is miles off. Had near enough 70% of ball and 14 chances to 3 in that first hour.
