Frenkie de Jong

Horatio

You're welcome
don’t know what to say if think that pass is average. Araujo for example has never and will not ever attempt it in his career.

Gavi fan boys are worse.. they screech for delight about him being a 'leader' for the way he behaves like scrappy doo.

Have seen a good few take that utterly moronic ten minutes from him and try to make it a positive...

Must be the player with the least clips of what actually does on the ball for praise.

Passed the ball forward x3 more yds than Casado. More passes forward in yds from time on park than Pedri.

Made x6 passes into final third.. that is x6 more than Casado and more than Pedri/Casado per time combined.

Most progressive passes for time on park in team

Calma lads and have a clue...'he passes it sideways and backwards'.

Literally both coaches mentioned how he passes it quicker and forward more and upped teams tempo to change game.

You seem obsessed with Frenkie..

Aye you prefer wee fake hard men.. heard it all before.

That would be FDJ who has some of the best stats for findning team mates in forward areas.. aye same one.

FDJ is on another level to finding team mates with the ball than likes of Gavi and Casado.
You dont understand football do you? It doesn’t matter if someone plays the ball more foreward. It’s about the timing and moment when you do this. Frenkie has a habbit in playing the ball short between the lines to teammates when that’s not the solution to create danger. Casado has maybe less flair on the ball than Frenkie and maybe is the less natural looking player but he knowns much better who and on which moment to pass the ball towards teammates. He also switches way more with short and long balls not to look fancy but because that’s where the space is or danger. How many El Clasico’s Frenkie played and how many assists? Zero. Casado in 2 matches against them 2 beautiful assists. Same as the one against another topteam Bayern. Like i often said, Frenkie his intuition when to pass in order to create chances or to let his teammate create chances is still not good enough. He likes to play the old fashion Barca with Pep when they were 6-0 up and just killed the game with nice possession, but the difference is that Frenkie does it when it’s 0-0. Casado is less better in press resistance and dribbling but in passes that actually are making sense he’s better. Even when playing short or sideways he still does it in the rhythm of the attack instead of Frenkie

Fake news... FDJ is on a whole level above Casado in playing ball earlier.

Morons on here can think what they like... listen to what both coaches said after this game and others.

Listen to why Flick took Casado off and FDJ on.

Barca literlally improved levels in attack when FDJ came on v Alaves.. as did v Real earler in season.. as did v Benfica..as did in games v Valenica and Betis.
