Gerard Deulofeu

It seams to me he started playing bad again and basically that started in the moment Robert said we will execute our buy option. Will history repeat itself with this guy?

He always starts good and than he goes to oblivion. I really hope this won't be the case again!

He hasn't started to play badly, what are you talking about? Roberto said we will buy him back a very long time ago and Deu hasn't been playing poorly since then. You're talking total nonsense.

The only game I can think of where he was truly poor was the game against Roma but that goes for pretty much the entire team, they were clearly outmatched and got outplayed in all aspects.

He probably has been or not far off it.

The Milan fans seem to be starting to think Everton were right about him.

He was playing well in late April. It's early May. If Milan fans are turning on him that quickly they must have the memories of goldfish, because he's been nothing like the player he was for Everton since he arrived.

No they watch him every game and have been raising the exact same issues that Everton fans have.

Hasn't been good recently.

He played very well against Empoli. If Suso finishes his chances Milan gets the win and Deulofeu gets at least a couple of assists. Just because Milan loses doesn't mean Deu was poor.

I didn't get to see the game against Crotone (But I did enjoy quite an intense tennis final) but I did watch Roma play and there's seriously not a single player not wearing gloves who can say they played a good game in that one.

And really, even if he was a standout poor performer in 3 games... Is that really it? We have players go on runs of bad form that last for twice as many months as that.

Thought he looked the same old Deulofeu in that Empoli game from what I seen.

One dimensional. Constant dribbling and balls into box.

Created some chances but all round play was poor.

I think Paco is a much better player than Deu and more fitting to Barca style.

I really don't understand why the board wants him back. What can he offer that Paco and Denis can't offer?

I'm not saying he's a bad player, but I just don't see how he matches our style. He holds the ball way too long and we already get frustrated with Neymar doing that.

I am not saying this is it! I am just saying I hope he continues on the right track, I really don't wat him to go in bad direction once again.

Well first of all Deu is a winger while Paco is CF, secondly they are totally different players.

Paco has been utilized a lot as a winger in the Lucho system, sometimes interchanging with Suarez as a CF.

I ask you this then: What does Deu offer that Denis or Paco can't at the wing? I've watched a few Milan matches this year and I don't see a big improvement like most of you have. Yes, his passing has improved a lot and there is less hold up play, but that's literally the only things I saw. Those two don't automatically make you a Barca player. He is also isolated a lot on the wing. Give that much time to any of our wingers and they could also make something happen.
