What is so confusing? I didn't say he will replace anyone, is my english really bad or something? Tell me if you can tell the difference between those 2 sentences:
I think Semedo will replace Alves.
I feel like Roberto thinks he can replace Iniesta.

Go back bit and read Selena's reply to your original post, if you're still in doubt.
If we bring him back and he doesn't want to negotiate a new contract with a higher buyout clause, then yes.
This is business. Gerry D is now in the Spain team and will want to make the World Cup. If he wants to play then these are the terms.
After Neymar there is no two ways about it IMO.

Okay...guys...it's all in the semantics. Clemente said that Deulofeu plays like he (as in Deulofeu) believes he's a player good enough to replace Neymar/Messi (read: earn a starting position at Barca). As such he is unlikely to accept a long term bench position once Ousmane arrives. Clemente himself doesn't believe that Deulofeu can replace Neymar and certainly not Messi. Therefore, he will probably depart the team next summer. Was that so hard to comprehend?

My issue is he keeps going off about saying "Deulofeu will replace Messi" and there are no semantics about it, he's arguing a point that was never made, nor implied.
