His main problem is allowing way too much space for attackers. Look at this clip where Chukwueze receives it in the box with a poor touch and no momentum. Pique could have pushed up on him immediately and forced him outwards, closing down any chance to pass it or gather momentum to dribble. Instead he just stands there while Chukwueze gets it under control and has time to look up for teammates arriving in the box. This sort of thing is inexcusable.
