doubt it considering navas made some angry cryptic social media post after the donnarumma news came up

French media said he considered leaving this summer but decided to fight for his place. Dunno how much truth is in it because he is actually the dressing room leader. We know in football, it is much more than individual quality and even then Navas was the best PSG player last year.

However, knowing Leonardo, it is obvious Donnarumma has been brought to be number 1. He had some ageism concept and didn't hesitate when Nene, Cavani or Thiago Silva had done their time.

Think they wanted to bin him after the CL semi

Not sure where he'll go, but dont see him staying too far into summer. PSG won't pass up getting the Euro POTT

They renewed him just before the CL semi.
What happened is simple, Donnarumma was finally available and PSG had been drolling for years about him. Much like they jumped on Neymar or Mbapp? when they became available.

New younger toy.

I wanted Donarumma. He is twice the keeper Ter Choker is. Psg have added some solid pedigree this summer. Three were on frees.

We don't have the money, even if we did, we can't get any more players because of the salary cap. We can't even register the new signings and Messi right now.

I think PSGs chances of winning CL titles depends on whether Mbappe continues or not.

They need a player that is lethal off the ball.

Yeah, they had a good keeper already. Donnarumma or any other keeper isn't the main difference between failure and success. Even more so when you are an attacking team.

PSG don't need him at this instant but it's a very good opportunity just like Courtois was a good market opportunity long term for Madrid. Curiously Navas involved in both cases.

Sounds too good of a ratio to be real. All penalties? Penalties in 90' or shootouts?

lol that number must be a miscalculation from just yesterdays shootout, and counting the penalty where he was fooled but Rashford missed.

He had a decent game yesterday, the goal was tough to do anything against (although Mats would be lynched here for that goal too) and he went out of his area to catch a couple of crosses - but had John Stones put some hairgel in before the game, Donnarumma would've looked like a fool and be the scapegoat for England winning 2-0, he was way out of line there.

To sum some of Donnarummas faults up: not only bad with his feet, but also insecure, gifted Spain the ball in dangerous areas multiple times in the semis. Not very good at handling, leaves rebounds, goes out of his area mindlessly sometimes, and sometimes too slow to get out. He makes some mistakes and some strange decisions.
He is a lengthy keeper with decent reflexes who was young when he first got to play.

my impression also. nowhere near the ball as he didn't even attempt to go to ground to parry it. ter stegen would've been crucified for that.

barcaforum now crying over donnarumma goiing to psg as if we missed signing messi.

Yeah, I was just thinking that as well...Poor Navas, the guy really is very unlucky when it comes to that
