Then where do you put Iniesta? Iniesta as a DM isn't gonna work, especially with Messi in midfield. I'd rather bench Sanchez than him. Of course, I'd rather not buy Higuain, keep Sanchez in the lineup and spend the money on areas that need it more, like CM and CB.

Without him in the starting line up, Messi and Di Maria are awful because Aguero likes to run with the ball as well, and he hasn't been fire lately either. England probably ruined him as well. Higuain needs to start, he unlocks Di Maria and Messi.

That seems the most likely line-up indeed (with Rakitic instead of Xavi). If Higuain arrives, Sanchez is gone imho. As others have pointed out already, an attacking quartet of Sanchez - Neymar - Higuain and Messi would be took weak defensively.

I like this transfer a lot, provided that we can't get Kun/Reus/Suarez. Always thought Gonzalo was deadly in the box, poor outside it, but we have plenty (too much, in fact) players outside the box.

To be honest, though, I doubt we'll get him, unless he really pushes it.

There's reports of 30 odd million for Alexis, and honestly, as good as a player as he can, I just don't think his touch in particular or movement up front will ever be good for us. If there's that much money on the table and it's going towards someone'll add a lot to us, I'll grab it with both hands.
