From an entertainment point of view, very satisfied. Far beyond my expectations. From the result point of view mediocre satisfied as the last 2 awful months obliterated the dream Liga start with trashings against Bayern and Madrid.
The drop in form was expected, as we have the youngest team of all top teams by far and in addition, most of the players chained games for months because we had up to 9 injuries simultanously. I don't blame Flick for that, every coach would have struggled a lot with these conditions and I doubt there are many out there, who would do the same, or better than Flick in the current situation. We can't forget that this is also Xavi's team still with only one summer signing. The painful defeats at home against Leganes and Las Palmas are inexcusable obviously and we would have been in a much better place overall taking the 6 points here.

Summarized Flick took over Xavi's team, that is the youngest und most unexperienced team from all top teams with title ambitions, had to fight injury problems and was restricted in signins, additionally competes in a league, that clearly favors the blancos.

Under these circumstances, if you don't see the last 2 months in a vacuum, the first half is still good enough and acceptable. But it's also clear that we need a winning streak as soon as possible to not lose our first title, LaLiga this early. A good way to start the new year will be to trash Madrid in Saudi Arabaia and gain some confidence again.

OK. That's all. Without losing so many points to inferior teams in the league it would have been great.

Quality of football has been promising and gives us hope that the issues we had so far can be improved on in the 2nd part of the season.

Arabian supercup is nice if we beat Madrid in the final, other than that it's mostly irrelevant.

Copa del Rey is two times more valuable than the Supercup.

If we spank Madrid fans will say yesss we are back.

If we lose they will say oh well it's some BS cup.

Care zero if we win or lose, beating Madrid is nothing to us, we own them in modern times.

Win 13 games in a row in la Liga is all I care about.
