Technically he was sacked. But Flick wanted to be sacked, he did everything possible, because he wanted Löw's job at the NT. He insulted Salihamidiz infront of the entire team, he started to argue with everyone at Bayern and the sporting results in his second year weren't that great either, especially their defense sucked.
