Fact of the matter is that we are stringing losses right now and there are few managers in history who managed to turn it around. And that is fatal for a Barca manager.

In general leagues are won by teams that show consistency. You can't go full tilt at the start, then be atrocious and then be great again. A slump in form is expected for most big teams, but not of this magnitude.

We are stringing losses right now, but the gap is not big. Not too late to get back, but it will be soon if we don't get on a winning run.

Should have taken the draw rather than go all in for the win really. It's not like it was a knockout game. We lost our heads at the end.

We played well in last two games so can't blame Flick for those losses. But it's his responsibility that we didn't do well enough in previous five games (except Mallorca - anyone wants to guess who didn't play in that game? ;)) when these bad dynamics started. Once you get into bad run of form it's hard to get out. We can also see that with City. Then things that would usually go in your favor suddenly go against you.

Without dropping points against Celta, Betis, Las Palmas we probably wouldn't have lost today and last week either.

I can't believe people are talking about the league in any serious way. Real is now with mbappe and will only get better. Meanwhile Barca has no fullbacks 2cbs injured a bunch of kids in the midfield and 2 good attacking players.

What planet are you on people?
Disgusting twerking for Madrid on a Barca forum. Watch some of their games in the last 2 years. Terrorist football bailed out by moments/stretches of brilliance. Mbappe is a net negative so far as well.

These things go hand in hand. It's also the mental block, the eventual squabbling in the dressing room, press putting pressure etc.

I repeat - when is the last time you have seen a team show title winning form and then relegation form, only to win it in the same season?

The timing is good. There are no LL games for 3 weeks. Enough time to regroup. It depends on how we play vs Getafe

Yes, we can still turn things around but what guarantee we have we won't go into the same bad period again later in the season?

Bigger problem is relegation form over last 7 games (or in other words 36% of season so far) and a 13 (with potential 16) point swing compared to Atleti in two months. This can't happen if you consider yourselves a title contender.

We're not going to be able to go on a big win stretch for the simple reason that we lack the depth for it + got a pensioner playing up top for us.

We need to go on like a 7-10 win stretch to have a shot at the league and put pressure on both Madrid clubs.

No guarantees. If we fuck up again vs smaller teams we call it a shite season in the league and that's it.

Then we see about Flick at the end of the season also with CL campaign done with.

More like last 12 years, they have never played a stretch of good football since Mourinho’s magnum opus in 2012. Disgusting football bailed out by individual brilliance and mentality

The last time Atletico won at Barcelona was 2005-06.
Who won the UCL in 2005-06???
