You forgot Fort and Olmo but otherwise fully agree.

First half was most enjoyable 45 minutes of football this season. I didn't care about the result and wouldn't complain even if we would drop points. No tractor and a bunch of La Masia kids who know how to play.

Though Bumsi ofc had to ruin everything and sub on this dead version of Raphi for Ansu.
Even though Olmo is an academy player, think he is the most devoid of the Barca style. Guys is too direct.
This is why I didn't include.
Fort I can agree.

also called it. Fatigue not an issue yet. And rested Frenkie as I requested. But Flick even threw in a few other players.

@Barcaman

Fatigue was already an issue as seen in previous 5 matches.

But yeah, we looked much better yesterday due to Flicks rotations including Celta. Practically everyone got some rest.
Already said that I feel more optimistic about Copa final.

Well done to Flick

What players in your mind looked fatigue against Celta and didn’t today?

Don't know of that's the right question. Almost everyone looked tired coming to Celta match and almost noone started both matches. Different fullbacks, different DM, different wingers starting.
Can't judge Raphinha's fitness based off his 30 mins. Olmo just came from injury. Frankie played 20 mins. It's really only Ferran who played significant minutes in both matches.

This was probably the most Barcaesque game I watched the whole season.
Probably because we had Fati, Eric, and Gavi on the field, who are more inclined to play that way.

I liked it, and it just showed the weakness Flick has when it comes to rotation.
We have won so many games with huge amounts of GD that it wasn't justified not to play these players or this lineup before.
We could have gained the points that we dropped because of fatigue and injuries.

Good post

The set ups of Xavi and Flick are very different.

That is just nonsense from the Atheltic trying to find similarities.

Flick has Barca playing far more direct when they can and has put Pedri at heart of team where he always should have been.

It's sad most people here are entertained by donkey's insha runs because he doesn't provide anything more than that.

Yep as dracon said that game was the most Barcaesque I've seen in a long time, but it make sense with the 6 of the 10 outfield players being from masia, 7 because pedri might as well have been born in masia.
