I'm starting to eat humble pie and fearing what LE is building with this PSG.

I don't particularly rate their offensive trio over ours (or their quartet if we include the sub of Barcola/Doue and Ferran).

Nor their midfielders.

Nor LE over Hansi.

But the thing is all over the park they have more pace than us and are quicker to swarm the opposition than us. Liverpool and Villa were suffocated.

Now we have much better possession play, pausa and transitions than the Prem sides to wrestle back control of the match. But it's freakish how much fitter these PSG sides have looked than us over the past 5+ seasons. The gap is smaller with Hansi but they still look a tad better physically than us. Especially the version of us since the internationals.

No guarantee they reach the final either. Same for us to be fair

Gotta take one game at a time.

But that pace and the type of front trio they have is very interesting for us. We're unlikely to get an upgrade for Lewandowski this summer so why not sign a very quick LW to possibly play with three wingers at top and be able to actually rotate properly?
