Hector Bellerin

Considering the rumors we aren't willing to pay 30 million for Cancelo, due to his poor performances at Valencia we should also consider the same for Bellerin who would cost even more than Cancelo.

Bellerin will simply cost to much and we need to look at more options. my hope is Robert has good alternatives out there if we decide to bin the idea of getting Bellerin.

As long as he doesn't go for someone for half the price who is a worse player, like Rick Karsdorp who is far from the level required.

I mean I'm not against spending a decent amount of money on a RB, it just depends on whether or not the player is worth it. for me at least right now Bellerin isn't worth splashing 40+Million on.

The Brits have a saying: "We're not reach enough to buy cheap things"". If no one's available, best not make a move at all and wait for the opportune time to make a smart signing. Or just upgrade the scouting dept. haha

Man. U.'s been pursuing Semedo for a while now. Some papers say a deal's been agreed on principle and others state that Benfica will be looking to raise the bids by holding talks with Bayern and maybe Barca...

He's been quite mediocre this season, i'm more and more inclined to the idea not to buy a RB at all this summer, and just stick with 3-4-3, we certainly have the best squad right now for this with an abundance of midfielders. While if and when we (rarely) do go back to 4 defenders, just play Vidal there, anyway Vidal can play RM a lot too. That's why it'd be even more important to get Sampaoli, who is the most open to the idea of playing with 3 defenders.

No tweets from him on Barca come-back?
Going by his twitter feed? nope not at all and it's not really surprising despite him coming through La Masia, he's not all that interested in the club.

Which I said it's a waste of time to even talk to him about coming back, he simply doesn't want to as he's comfortable with life in London.

I'm pretty certain we'll try to sign him and that it will be a decision taken by the top of the Barcelona hierarchy.

Then it is his decision. If he rejects, then we should go for someone like Nelson Semedo, Fabinho. A 10 year RB. The train should pass for Bellerin if he says no. A repeat of a Cesc saga would be a disaster.
