He will be completely useless. In big games Kounde will mos certainly play as a RB. Bellerin, on the other hand, will probably be used against weaker opponents in home games. However, I doubt he can be any better than Roberto. I sincerely hope we'll be able to sign a decent RB during the winter transfer window. In the end, if we couldn't sign a decent RB right now we should have waited until January.

He will be, as there is no other option at the moment and Xavi wants a RB. BVB won't let Meunier go for less than 20 mil so I doubt we'll sign him. Unfortunately it will be Bellerin for sure. I honestly can't believe that from the begging we had only one solution for a RB position and that was a 33y old Azpi. We had a very good transfer window apart from RB position where we failed miserably.

Two years with Barca having an option for a third year. Decent I guess.

Then next summer we can go all-in for a true starting RB after scouting all available options this season.

It makes sense. They are betting on Roberto leaving next summer and Bellerin potentially as a backup for the next season. Sign real starting RB next off-season.

I remember few years ago I was glad we dodged a bullet and signed Semedo instead of him. Well, that were different times, he was quite expensive by that time. Now we are getting him for free, but I doubt he will add any quality to the squad. Will end up being a bench warmer most likely.
