..

Larsson will now take time out to think over how best to fill the void left by his retirement, although he has already been linked with several coaching jobs, including at Celtic.

"I don't know if I have to go down to the employment agency and do certain things, but I have the luck and luxury to be able to say no to jobs which are offered to me," he added.

"But obviously there is an emptiness at present, and I need to fill that emptiness with something.

"I'm fortunate enough to have earned enough money to be able to sit back and not panic, but I have to do something. I can't just glide through the rest of life."

Anxiously waiting for the next match
Catalan newspaper El Mundo Deportivo reports that Swedish international and former Barcelona striker Henrik Larsson yesterday visited his former team mates and watched them train from the stands at the Ciudad Deportiva Joan Gamper. Larsson, who announced his retirement from football in October, returned to Barcelona for the first time in three years. He played for the Catalan club from 2004-2006 and was instrumental in their Champions League victory over Arsenal in 2006.

Speaking in an interview with Barça TV, Larsson paid tribute to his old team stating that he believes Barcelona are playing the best football in the world and are favorites to win the El Clasico: “It is probably the most spectacular game in the world. The best players in the world are on the pitch at the same time. And according to me, Barcelona are playing the very best. It is fast football with constant line passing between Xavi and Iniesta, and with Messi, Ibra and Henry up ahead, it cannot be better. I hope we win the derby.”

The former striker who is currently on holiday in Spain would take good note as he reportedly plans to coach in the future.

The legend has his first management job, I hope he has a big career ahead, he always came across as very intelligent:

Former Celtic and Barcelona striker Henrik Larsson has been appointed manager of Swedish second division side Landskrona Bois.

Larsson, 38, who also had a loan spell at Manchester United in 2007, retired as a player in October after finishing his career with Helsingborgs.

The Swede said: "I am very flattered by this offer, given that I don't have any bigger experience as a coach.

"I look forward to it and we'll see where I can take this."

Larsson was capped 106 times by Sweden and won the Champions League with Barcelona in 2006 in a 2-1 win over Arsenal in Paris.

He won two Primera Division titles with Barcelona, four Scottish Premier League crowns while at Celtic and was part of the Manchester United squad that won the Premier League in 2007.
