Olmo better what out.

Not saying anything new here, but he was one of the 3 standout players at the U17 WC.

Fifa regulations held back his development while the other two had better opportunities to grow in South America.

Who are the other two? Echeverri is probably one but I fail to see who is 3rd. especially from SA.

Messinho.

Brazil got beat by Argentina but he was the most well known talent going in and even coming out of the tournament.

Has developed in Brazil since, while our boy was in mali.

I figured, but he was so underwhelming in that tournament, it felt it actually decreased his value a bit as everyone was expecting great performance from him and he barely delivered. Guys like Brunner from Germany came out bigger.

Which is expected in such tournaments tbf

What a lineup. Aziz, Diarra and Garriba all start. Along with that 80s time capsuled guy Parriego.

I had a quiet evening planned, me the wife, watch some movie, maybe a bit of whowho. But no, chance to watch these talents takes priority.

Let's go.

Thought Aziz looked decent in that first game and barely had a sniff since.

Be interesting to see all three of them.

3-0 now.

What is going on.

The second and third were major defensive fuckups. I don't think the third is over the line if we use VAR like Japan at the world cup, but yeah, whatever. Awful stuff.

There's goals in this for Barca too, but Espanyol look like they can score 6.

Espanyol have men in their team.

Barca have a bunch of youth players who have barely played together and are the ones not away on international duty.

The GK and Landry/Gariba been fucking terrible though and rest of team has no shape and cant get near them.

Landry and that new lad are pretty terrible tbf, Bonfill too.

I watched Hafiz Gariba's highlights and he looked pretty sketchy in possession. This game with the bad weather pretty much confirms it.

I guess we get to see Baba in the second half who I have liked in the limited games I watched Juvenil B.
