U can't associate Legend with Bellamy .
Ducky pointing out to his charity work is hilarious.. that would make almost half the player in the world legends
Legend??? I voted "good player, but not a legend". I don't see how he could be even in the category of "maybe". Would you expect a statue of him to be made? What has he done in his career to warrant him being a legend? He can't even guide his own country to WC qualification. He hasn't won a single meaningful trophy in his career and.....
...and...I now realise that this topic must be a joke.
Who exactly were you having this discussion with, Gold? A 92 year-old Welsh-Man City fan in a nursing home who suffers from alzheimers?
Craig Bellamy is a good player, he has shown sometimes that he can be a match-winner and most of the time works very hard on the pitch - all in all a very useful player to have in your squad. But describing him as a Legend? How did it ever enter yours or the 92 year old welshmans head that you can place the word "legend" in the same sentence as "Craig Bellamy" unless that sentence was "Craig Bellamy is such a legend for being a cunt"?
Yip, legends are players like Cruyff, Zico, Pele, Maradona and probably Messi when he is finished with his career. If Bellamy is termed a legend, although he is very good, then the word 'legend' has lost its meaning
