I secretly hope Cuenca and / or Afellay have a say in some games this year. I didn't mind the kids. Too bad their legs gave out.

I actually have a lot of faith on Cuenca. He's a really talented and versatile player. I'd really love it if Tata puts the same faith in him as Pep did.

Cuenca working with the ball in training. Alriiiiiightt! I think if he came back he would complete the front line perfectly and render Pedro and Sanchez virtually unnecessary. He has more talent than both of them imo, based on his 2012 season. Hoping for a speedy recovery, the kid is dynamite.

Cuenca is way more talented than Tello, but that doesn't mean he is better.

Cuenca was one of my favorites in his last season at Barca and I was amazed that the club wanted to let him go on loan. Shame for his injuries cause he has big potential. Overall, I rate him over Tello.

The Catalan forward, who underwent an arthroscopic meniscectomy in June, participated in part of this afternoon's training session

Tata Martino led the session attended by Pinto, Montoya, Puyol, Dos Santos, Bartra, Tello, Oier and Adriano, the internationals and injured players didn't take part in today's session

The FC Barcelona players who have been called up for international duty weren’t present at today’s training session at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper. Gerardo Martino led a session attended by nine first team players, eight of whom trained normally (Pinto, Montoya, Puyol, Dos Santos, Bartra, Tello, Oier and Adriano), while Isaac Cuenca, who has been out of action for the last four months, participated in part of the session with his team-mates.

The Catalan forward, of 22 years os age, has been recovering from an arthroscopic meniscectomy regularisation. The player’s recovery time after the operation, which took place on 7 June, was set at four months.

The injured players – Javier Mascherano, Jordi Alba and Leo Messi – continued their rehabilitation work apart from the group.
