Since when did Madrd use logic when buying players?? they go for any big name they can get their hands on regardless of position and requirements, take Bale as another example where the hell does he fit in between Ronaldo, Di Maria, Ozil, Modric, Kaka and now Isco not to mention Callejon, Canales etc etc, the fact is he sells shirts and costs a bomb ergo = Madrid signing.

Have they ever used common sense over ego when buying players??

Sorry, been getting it in the neck from a few city fans insisting Isco was theres and how theyd walk the league next year with him hes miles better than Thiago etc etc City forums have even been making up songs with the tune above (not the words of course) for him arrogantly assuming he was theirs! they became very arrogant so forgive me for my joy at seeing him end up at Madrid sort of poetic justice, although i appreciate you guys would have preferred him to go to City.

Dont know what your worried about though, your first eleven is miles better than Madrids, you were without a manager who was himself a relative novice for large parts of last season and still had the league won before the turn of the year, Mourinhios gone and although a complete twat is a great manager and a better one than Ancelotti so Madrid will be weaker for that, your massive favourites for the league in my view, id rather have your squad than madrids anyday isco or no isco, would Isco even get in your team? maybe ahead of Alexis or Pedro on the right but outside of that i dont see a place for him.

The comparisons put that way are a little inaccurate purely because you and Madrid play different systems and you end up comparing different types of players, comparing Xavi to Ozil there for instance, 2 completely different players.

You guys play a 4-3-3, how many Real Madrid players would you swap for your first choice team:

Valdes

Alves - Pique - Puyol - Alba

Xavi - Busquets - Iniesta

Alexis - Messi - Neymar

To me not one of madrids midfield gets in yours in that system, Messi is a cert, Ronaldo over Neymar of course but then you could easily switch Ronaldo to the other side, id Have Neymar over Di Maria or Isco as of now for example.

Alves is a better full back than Arebloa, Alba is better than Marcelo who lost his place to Contraeo at the back end of last year, i agree Madrids centre backs and keeper are probably better.

If i were a Barca fan the only Madrid players id take would be Ronaldo, Casillas, Varane and possibly Ramos.

If you put Neymar against Di Maria and Piqué against Pepe it would look extremely different... you really can't compare teams like this, Messi for example is 100 times better than Benzema and still counts the same as a Madrid player who's only a bit better than one of Barça.

This transfer looks 100 times better than Neymar, maybe x3 if we consider the transfer money so stop hitting at Real Madrid, I think this is a very good transfer, good money, best player outside the top 2 teams from La Liga. They weren't even in pole for a moment as City almost had him, they did a good job here. Probably champions of la liga 2013/14 unless some serious things are going to fix our defense and others and Ancelotti fails extremely badly.
